The Boldt Company earns two safety awards

APPLETON, WI, May 11, 2018–The Boldt Company was recognized for excellence in workplace safety and health at the Governor’s Safety Awards luncheon on May 10 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Boldt Company is one of 279 employers to be honored through the awards program, coordinated by the Minnesota Safety Council.

“We value our people, and keeping them safe is a very important part of our strong safety culture at Boldt,” said Shelly Peterson, Executive Vice President of The Boldt Company. “We make the daily commitment to go home injury-free, and are honored to accept the Outstanding Achievement Award,” Peterson said.

Since 1934, the annual Governor’s Safety Awards program has honored Minnesota employers with exceptional safety performance. Applicants are judged on several years of injury data as it compares with their industry’s national statistics, and on their progress in implementing a comprehensive safety program.

The Boldt Company was also recently a winner of a Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award co-sponsored by the Wisconsin Safety Council and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. This program honors leaders in Wisconsin’s business community for achieving excellence in safety and health.

Boldt was just one of 12 companies to win the Wisconsin Corporate Safety Award and has now received the honor 11 times as a result of the firm’s constant dedication to creating a safe work environment and developing and implementing industry-leading safety technology and procedures.
