Appleton Public Library: Project Progress
After years of planning and anticipation, construction on the new Appleton Public Library has finally begun. The project is anticipated to be completed in 2025. The new state-of-the-art facility that will serve the community and the surrounding Fox Valley area. Boldt is proud to be a construction partner for this long-awaited project. DEMOLITION
Demolition is well underway. The lower-level ceiling and walls are gone. On the ground floor, the ceiling, lights and most walls have been removed. Finally, the second-floor ceiling tiles, lights, and aluminum storefront frames were also removed. Sustainable construction is fundamental at Boldt, with waste management being part of the standard construction services. On this project Restore will repurpose paper product dispensers, soap dispensers, etc. Some items will be removed and reused by the City’s Facilities Department or where needed. For example, brick and concrete will be crushed for road base material.
