The Boldt Company Appoints Brad VanGorder as Detroit Vice President and General Manager
Experienced leader to oversee business operations, vision for company success
DETROIT (July 18, 2023) — The Boldt Company has appointed Brad VanGorder as its vice president and general manager in Detroit. A proven expert in the field, VanGorder will manage the Detroit office and construction operations, leading efforts to strengthen existing customer relationships and drive business growth.
VanGorder’s work will also involve building Boldt’s presence in the local community, cultivating an environment of diversity, equity and inclusion, and championing change for constant improvement.
As a C-level construction executive with more than 16 years of experience, VanGorder is well-versed in leading teams and managing multi-million-dollar projects. He most recently served as a chief operating officer for a construction services firm, and his experience includes automotive, technology, commercial, education, training, municipal and health/senior living.
“My goal is to provide excellent customer service to Boldt’s clients and invest in employees to help them achieve their goals,” VanGorder said. “There are significant opportunities to foster growth within Boldt, and I look forward to building with this team.”

An active member of the community, VanGorder serves as a Youth Sports Coach and as a volunteer at Everest Academy and Clarkston Family Farm. He earned his bachelor’s degree in construction management from Ferris State University and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
