MidAmerican Energy – Bishop Hill II Wind Farm

For the Bishop Hill Phase II project, Boldt installed 50,100 meter, 1.5 MW General Electric turbines and the foundations. Our scope of work also included turbine erection, civil work and electrical work including collection system, substation and tower wiring.
Boldt used the most sophisticated Lean techniques in planning and organizing to monitor materials, equipment, personnel and other resources to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

Project Highlights
- Boldt’s Construction Waste Management (CWM) program was implemented on this project. All materials that could be reused were gathered and sent to other projects. Iron and other recyclable materials were collected and recycled.
