Chief Marketing Officer & Executive Vice President
The Boldt Group

Stacy leads business development and marketing initiatives, focusing on client development, brand strategy and positioning. She oversees strategies, communication and creative marketing efforts to drive innovation and adapt to an ever-changing landscape.

Stacy has held business development and marketing positions at leading professional service firms in the built environment for more than three decades. She has a pulse on the current construction market and knows how to strategically use data and other insights to build strong relationships and drive growth in Boldt’s key market segments.

Jeff Shipley

Chief Operating Officer
The Boldt Company

Jeff leads construction operations across The Boldt Company, bringing a hands-on approach to leadership, disciplined project controls, Lean construction expertise and a passion for people and safety. In his role, he is responsible for day-to-day operations of the operating groups and the company’s growth in the healthcare, power, industrial, education, automotive and commercial markets.

Prior to assuming the role of COO, Jeff led Boldt’s San Francisco, Sacramento, Oklahoma City and Detroit offices. Collectively, he has 20 years’ experience in the industry. Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in construction science from the University of Oklahoma.

David Thomack

President—Western Operations

David is a 40-year veteran of the construction industry who joined Boldt in 2005 and now serves as President of Western Operations. David has led successful transformational projects for project owners across the country—including CPMC/Sutter Health, San Francisco Airport, the University of Wisconsin – Madison and Sacred Heart/St. Mary’s Health System. His construction background includes commercial, public sector, healthcare, aviation, and science and technology industries.

David’s experience with operational excellence, strategic visioning, process implementation and Integrated Lean Project Delivery® has made him a leader in creating and managing successful, collaborative teams in the construction industry.

Jake Ruatti

Jake leads all of The Boldt Group’s accounting and financial functions across Boldt and all its entities. He has introduced more sophisticated financial reporting and benchmarking, embraced innovative technology and instilled more sophisticated practices in Boldt’s forecasting. His financial practices and leadership have positioned the organization for future growth. He also manages the Audit Committee, adds oversight for tax and treasury and is a trustee of the retirement plans.

Melanie holds a key leadership role in furthering the organization’s impact in the industrialized construction space as the Vice President of Manufacturing for Bildt. She leads modular manufacturing, ensuring the timeliness, safety, productivity, speed and quality of industry-leading modular solutions.

Melanie has developed and cemented a reputation as a forward-thinking leader, embracing innovation and promoting collaborative team environments. Having demonstrated strong leadership and mastery of various delivery methods, especially CMAR and IPD, across multiple sectors and geographies, she has shown herself to be a dedicated promoter of Lean construction, a savvy problem solver and a fierce advocate for clients’ goals. These strong suits are well-aligned with the innovative manufacturing practices and environment she leads for Bildt.

Mark Nolta

Vice President of Corporate Estimating & Preconstruction

Mark has nearly 40 years of varied experience in estimating, structural engineering, design coordination and construction administration. He facilitates excellence in estimating and preconstruction services across The Boldt Company’s operations including management of a core team that supports all Boldt locations. Mark works with project teams to prepare deliverables and set projects up for success including all aspects of construction costs, material availability, document and constructability review, subcontractor scope and experience evaluation, construction schedules and logistics. He also oversees implementation of all technology used during preconstruction, especially virtual design & construction.

Will Lichtig

Will is a nationally recognized leader in the Lean and integrated project delivery methods. He has been at the forefront in developing our Integrated Lean Project Delivery® (ILPD) process. He leads by example with his drive for innovation and commitment to continual improvement, Lean processes and problem solving.

Will works with teams across The Boldt Group to develop and implement Lean processes for target value design, Lean production planning and control, built-in quality, Lean problem-solving and other innovative approaches to project delivery. He shares his experience and Lean project delivery knowledge to coach Boldt project leaders on the skills required to implement these innovative methods.

Throughout his 15+-year career at The Boldt Group, Klas has helped lead the development of our innovative prefabrication manufacturing capability, pushing Boldt to the forefront of the industry in prefabrication and modular construction. He works closely with Boldt clients and project teams to help develop prefabrication plans that align with clients’ needs, implementing solutions in the field and overseeing the prefabrication production.

Jason leads operations for The Boldt Company’s offices in Rochester, Minneapolis and Cloquet, Minn. and Eau Claire, Wis. He is a seasoned veteran of the construction industry, with an established history of managing large, complex projects in diverse sectors, from healthcare to heavy industrial. Jason has played a key role in Boldt’s introduction to the highly specialized proton therapy market, establishing Boldt as a national leader in proton therapy equipment installation.

Rob Branyan

Vice President of Labor Relations

As Vice President of Labor Relations for The Boldt Company, Rob directly supervises all aspects of Boldt’s labor relations program. This includes planning, developing, coordinating and implementing labor relations policies and procedures, as well as negotiating contracts and achieving bargaining goals.

As a strategic business partner for union and workforce development, Rob leads diverse craft staffing initiatives and provides creative solutions where labor relations shortages and challenges exist. Rob draws from three decades of collective bargaining experience on both the contractor and union side and holding numerous union positions.

John Huggett

John leads project execution and overall strategy for The Boldt Company’s Madison, Chicago and Milwaukee market offices. His vision and construction experience help to create understanding and alignment across all locations, resulting in an engaged and aligned team. From fiscal management to on-site safety and quality programs, John helps teams foresee and avoid pitfalls, recognize opportunities and maintain focus. His work in Lean process improvement and Target Value Delivery have been integral to project success.

Nathan Johnson

General Counsel
The Boldt Company

As General Counsel, Nathan serves as a strong legal professional and partner to The Boldt Company’s executive leaders. He has primary responsibility for legal matters pertaining to the company’s operations including oversight and support of Boldt’s project and commercial contracts, joint ventures, project claims and litigation matters.

Additionally, he provides strategic support for various company initiatives related to Boldt’s risk management function and other corporate strategic initiatives.
